Fred H. Norrell

Fred H. Norrell entered this life January
16, 1935 to Thomas Jack and Isabelle (Pickard) Norrell in Chattanooga,
Tennessee. He entered into rest June 11, 2008 at his home in Davis,
Oklahoma at the age of 73 years.
Fred grew up in Harrison, Tennessee and
entered the United States Air Force the first week he turned seventeen.
While in the Air Force, he built one of the first military computers
ever made. Fred also built completely by hand the first color television
his family owned. He and Patricia Osborne were married December 12,
1954 in Ardmore, Oklahoma. After twenty years of military service, he
retired in 1972 and moved to Davis, Oklahoma. He then began a second
career with Uniroyal in Ardmore, Oklahoma where he was employed as
maintenance supervisor and again retired with twenty years of service.
He dedicated himself to his family whom he treasured most of all. He
enjoyed building model airplanes, electronics and studying military
history.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia, of the home; three sons, Rick
Norrell and wife, Brenda, of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Lanny Norrell and wife,
Fran, of Davis, Oklahoma, and Kevin Norrell of Moore, Oklahoma; one
daughter, Malea Deseguirant and husband, David, of Shawnee, Oklahoma;
one brother, Tom Norrell and wife, Kim, of The Villages, Florida; seven
grandchildren, Casey, Jason, and Tyler Norrell, Matthew Deseguirant,
Brian, Jeramy, and Tye Nesmith; one great grandchild, Alexandria
Norrell.
