Ilene McMahan entered this life March 4,
1923 to Fred and Flora (Moore) Dilbeck in Dolberg, Oklahoma. She
entered into rest July 14, 2008 in Ardmore, Oklahoma at the age of 85
years.
Ilene and Eddie McMahan were married March
1940. She worked as a cosmetologist to further her education at Murray
State and Southeastern Colleges. She majored in elementary education
and taught at Spring Elementary School for two years. She lived in
Apache, Oklahoma for approximately 15 years and Carter County for 20
years. She retired to Sulphur, Oklahoma in 1980.

She was preceded in death by her husband,
Eddie McMahan; parents, Fred and
Flora Dilbeck; son-in-law, Joe Maxey; granddaughter, Sarah Maxey; six
brothers, Jack, Earl, Clinton, J.C., Guy, and her twin brother, Gene
Dilbeck; two sisters, Hallie Dyer and Russie Kelly.
She is survived by three sons, Michael
McMahan and wife, Pam, of Humble, Texas, Victor McMahan and wife, Diana,
of Wilson, Oklahoma; Jeff McMahan and wife, Deborah, of Rifle, Colorado;
one daughter, Connie Maxey of Anchorage, Alaska; one sister, Erma Walker
of Moore, Oklahoma; fourteen grandchildren; and eleven great
grandchildren. |
