Jerry Rey McCornack,
born October 10, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, passed away July 28,
2008. Jerry graduated from Capital Hill High School in 1957 and married
Wetona Abney. They resided in Oklahoma City and later moved to
Blanchard, where they lived for over 30 years until moving to Sulphur,
Oklahoma in 1991. As the owner of a steel construction company, Jerry
traveled throughout the United States specializing in aircraft hangar
door construction. Jerry treasured the time he spent with his
grandchildren and always enjoyed visiting with his friends and family
members.
Jerry is preceded in
death by his father, Robert E. McCornack, Sr.; mother, Verna McCornack;
brother, Robert E. McCornack, Jr.; and grandchild, Baby Guinn.
Surviving are his wife,
Wetona McCornack; one son, Rusty McCornack and wife, Cindy, of
Blanchard, Oklahoma; two daughters, Debbie Guinn and husband, Steve, of
Meeker, Oklahoma and Cathy Martin and husband, Dan, of Edmond,
Oklahoma. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Scott McCornack and
wife, Lacy, Jason McCornack, Brad Guinn, Cody Guinn, Tyler Martin, and
Kaylee Martin; one great granddaughter, Kiyah Guinn; mother-in-law,
Geneva Bright; niece, Wytona Bourquox, of Waco, Texas; cousin, Lou Ellen
Blankenship; cousin, Janeth Hoff and husband, Dennis; and many
friends. |
