Ray Barnett

Ray Barnett entered this life May 10, 1951 to Robert Eli and Juanita Rosa (Johnson) Barnett in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.  He entered into rest April 10, 2008 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 56 years.

Ray graduated from Pauls Valley High School in 1969 and shortly after, he joined the United States Navy.  As a corpsman in the Navy, he worked in the medical field which eventually led to earning a degree in nursing.  He was employed at the Pauls Valley General Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist at the time of his death.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Juanita Barnett; one brother, Cozie Barnett and two sisters, Bobbie Joe Hudson and Dean Fletcher.  He is survived by one daughter, Kelly Ranae Miller and one granddaughter, Haley Morgan McCurry both of Sulphur, Oklahoma; one brother, Eddie Barnett and two sisters, Nita Enblom and Ann Starr and husband, Bud, all of Hennepin, Oklahoma.
